Hot take: Smart locks made me uneasy about who gets in
Remember when you just gave someone a key and that was that. I set up smart locks and gave a one-time code to a cleaner. Later, I saw they came back a week later on the log. It felt wrong, like the tech blurred a line. Now I think twice before sharing any digital access.

Is all that tracking even worth the stress? Spencerb64 nailed it, you just end up overthinking everything.

Yeah, those logs turn trust into a weird math problem. With a key, you just hope they don't make copies. But now you see every single time the door opens, and your brain starts looking for patterns. You notice they came by at 9 p.m. on a Tuesday for "two minutes," and even if it was totally innocent, it plants a seed of doubt. The system hands you all this data you never asked for, and suddenly you're auditing people instead of just trusting them.

Start treating those logs like a part-time job you never wanted. Congrats, you're now a forensic analyst for your own front door.
