Got into it with a crew lead who insisted on screws for every joist. Ngl, nails have held houses for centuries and save time.

My crew lead insists on using old ropes past their safe life
Actually had a close call with some old climbing gear last year. Now I just replace anything questionable, no matter the cost. Saving money isn't worth the hospital trip lol.
