Like you lead with your rate, they agree to talk, but then halfway through planning they start asking for discounts or acting like the number is new... feels like the upfront talk didn't really stick. How do you make the cost really land so it doesn't come up again later?

Sometimes on those flat stretches, I find myself noticing tiny things, like how the light filters through the leaves or the pattern of cracks in the pavement.
