Ruby_bell47 mentioning magnetic strips just gave me a flashback. My uncle swore by them in his workshop, but one summer his prized hammer got stuck to the underside of my dad's car bumper. Drove halfway across town before they heard the clanging. Turns out a really strong magnet near metal can have some, uh, travel plans of its own. Always made me a bit nervous about using them for anything too important on the move. Still a cool idea if you can keep things in one spot though.
