inCalibration is taking forever and our inspections are backed up, what do you guys do to cope?
Yeah we started booking our next calibration before the current one expires. Gives us a buffer so we're never waiting on a critical tool.

inHeard a new guy on site say he doesn't torque every single bolt on a door operator
That's a scary way to work. Seen a door come off its track because three out of six bolts were finger tight. The vibration from the motor just walks them loose. You have to make the new guys understand it's not about being slow, it's about not having to go back. Show them a stripped out hole from over-torquing too. The tool is there for a reason.

inI used to give people 90 days to pay. Now it's 14 days, period.
Ugh, the "next big check" line... classic. Reminds me of a guy who used to promise he'd pay my cousin back "after the holidays" for like three different holidays in a row.

inI argued with my IT guy for a week about turning off Bluetooth on my phone when I'm not using it, but after my friend's car got hacked in a parking garage downtown, I finally started doing it.
So your IT guy was right all along, huh?

inStripped a 10mm bolt head on a DPF bracket and spent a Tuesday afternoon drilling it out.
Ever try welding a nut onto the broken bolt stub? I had a caliper bracket bolt snap off flush once and that was the only thing that saved me. The heat from the weld can really break things loose, plus you get a solid grip. Just make sure to protect everything around it from spatter.
