Finally stopped using PayPal invoicing after 4 years of headaches

I used to just send invoices through PayPal because it was easy, but I kept losing like 3% on every payment and clients would complain about the fees. Switched over to Wave last month after a client in Santa Fe sent me $450 and I only got $436 after fees. Anyone else switch invoicing tools and actually see a difference in what you keep?

Did you look into what Stripe charges? My buddy Mike was losing his mind over PayPal fees too, he switched to Square for his landscaping biz and said it saved him like $200 a month.

Ngl, I wish I could save $200 a month by switching payment processors but I'd probably spend it on something dumb like more coffee subscriptions that I don't need. Tbh I already spent an hour last week looking at my PayPal fees and just shrugged it off because math is hard. Maybe I should just ask Mike for his landscaping hookup instead, at least that would save me money on lawn care. But seriously, I looked into Stripe a bit and it seemed decent if you don't mind setting up more accounts.

Wait so Mike actually saved $200 switching to Square? My buddy looked at Stripe but said their payout schedule was annoying, did Square give him any hassle with that or was it pretty smooth?
