Hit 1,000 AI-generated test cases today, and I'm honestly a little creeped out
I run a small QA team in Austin, and we started using an AI tool to write our edge case scenarios. Last week we crossed 1,000 generated tests that passed our review process, which is way more than my two manual testers could do in a month. The weird part was seeing it catch a date format bug from 2019 that we'd all forgotten about. It didn't just save time, it found stuff we'd never think to check. Has anyone else had that moment where the AI's output felt smarter than your own planning session?

Honestly used to think AI test writing was just a gimmick, but that 2019 bug story hits different. It's one thing to automate the boring stuff, but catching a random old edge case like that shows it's actually thinking about patterns we'd never connect. Kind of humbling that a tool can out-plan our whole team's brain power.
