I finally realized my AI art tool was wasting hours with a simple setting
I spent 3 weeks trying to get consistent character faces in Midjourney. Every generation looked like a different person. Turns out I had the "stylize" value cranked too high the whole time. Dropping it from 1000 to 250 fixed everything in 10 minutes. Felt pretty dumb but at least now my characters actually look like the same person. Anybody else have a silly setting trip them up for way too long?

It's actually 1000 max for stylize, not 1000 default.

Wait, so you're saying the default is something lower then? I've been running tests and it feels like the difference between 500 and 1000 isn't that huge on most prompts anyway. What have you noticed changes the most when you push it all the way up to 1000 versus something like 700 or 800?
