TIL a simple focus trick for cleaner hand saw cuts

I was trimming some pine boards yesterday and noticed my cuts were always a bit wavy. I started to really watch my hand and breathe out slowly during each push, and it made a big difference. My lines stayed straighter without needing a guide or jig. What little habits have you picked up to improve your basic cuts?
