Walked past a new AI art gallery in Brooklyn and the paintings were all moving

The place on 5th Ave had these digital frames where the portraits would subtly blink or the landscapes would have flowing water. It was a weird mix of cool and creepy, like the art was watching you back. Has anyone else seen AI art that feels a little too alive?

Honestly that sounds kind of gimmicky and overdone. Tbh a painting that blinks just feels like a cheap trick to get a reaction. The whole point of good art is it makes you feel something without needing a digital screen to move. Ngl I'd rather look at a regular painting that has real texture and mistakes you can see up close. All that tech just distracts from whether the actual art is any good.

But it makes you wonder if the art is ever really finished.
