Tried the video trick and it actually works. I set a timer for 5 minutes between coats, which feels like forever, but my skin doesn't get red anymore. Thinner layers help too, but the waiting part was the game changer for me.

Just keep good records and stay polite, it usually works out.

But it makes you wonder if the art is ever really finished.
