Bought a $60 air fryer liner pack, learned the hard way
I grabbed a 50 pack of those silicone liners from Amazon, figured they'd save me scrubbing time. First few uses were fine, but then the oils soaked in and they started smelling like old fish no matter how I washed them. Tossed the whole lot after 3 weeks, that's 60 bucks down the drain. Anyone else found a brand that actually holds up, or should I just go back to foil and parchment?

wait, THREE weeks? i mean i get the oil thing, silicone does absorb stuff eventually, but that fast? that's straight up garbage quality. i had a cheap pack from target once and they lasted me months before they got weird, and even then they just got cloudy, not rancid smelling. honestly the fact they started stinking like old fish tells me there's something sketchy in the material itself, like it's not even food grade silicone. for $60 you couldve bought a whole new air fryer basket like three times over, that's insane. i'd say go back to parchment for now, at least you can just toss it and not deal with mystery smells.
