Just realized my air fryer pizza rolls always burn because I ignore the timer out of greed

Oh man, you might be using the wrong BRAND for air frying. Some pizza roll types have thinner wrappers that cook way faster than others. I burnt a whole batch because the store brand cooked in half the time of the name brand. Now I always do a test run with a couple rolls first to check the timing. That initial test saves the whole bag from turning into charcoal. It's not just about the timer, it's about knowing your specific food.

I cook mine at 350 instead of 400 and check them a minute early, totally stole that from @drews55. They come out perfect now instead of being little lava rocks.

Try setting it for less time than you think you need.

Solid point from @drews55. I always cut a minute off whatever the package says! Saves so much food from getting ruined.
