My aunt in Tulsa microwaved her wings for 20 years and I get why now
Everyone in my family swears by the air fryer for wings, and I used to agree. Then I did a side by side at my aunt's place in Tulsa over the holidays, 12 wings each batch, and her 4 minute microwave steam plus a quick broil beat my 22 minute air fryer batch on crispiness. The trick was patting them dry and hitting them under the broiler for 3 minutes, no basket flipping needed. I still use the air fryer for most stuff but I have not made wings in it since. Has anyone else gone back to the oven for one specific thing?
