My neighbor in apartment 4B swears you should never preheat an air fryer
We were talking about making fries yesterday, and she said preheating just dries out the food before it even starts cooking... which made me pause because my Ninja's manual says to always preheat. So, who's right here, the manual or the neighbor with the crispy wings?

Just try both and see what works.

But what if trying both isn't an option? Like, what if the choice is between two expensive software packages and you can't just test them out for free?
