Panel beeping at 2am in a Riverside condo, turned out to be a loose zone wire on 7
I was finishing a panel swap in a Riverside condo two weeks ago when the keypad started chirping at 2am and the homeowner called me in a panic. I traced it to zone 7 where the wire had backed out of the terminal just enough to trip the trouble signal, so I reseated it and put a small zip tie on the bundle to stop it from happening again. Has anyone found a better way to lock down those tiny screw terminals so they stop walking out on their own?

Ferrule crimps on the stripped ends give the screw something solid to bite.
