A guy at the anime meetup in Portland convinced me to skip filler arcs and now I regret it
He swore up and down that anything not in the manga was a waste, so I skipped the entire first arc of a show and the finale made zero sense. Now I rewatch the filler on purpose since it's the only part that slows down and lets the side cast breathe, but I'm curious if anyone else got talked into skipping and felt lost later.
