Took me 4 months to realize I was skipping the wrong episodes of Gintama
Everyone keeps saying skip the first 2 episodes, but nobody mentions skipping episodes 47 and 48 because they're basically a recap arc that kills the pacing. I burned through 10 weeks of my lunch breaks feeling bored before I looked up a filler list and found out those two were the problem... has anyone else hit a random dead zone in a long runner they thought they knew?

Oh man I feel this. I read somewhere that Gintama has a bunch of those recap episodes hiding in the middle and nobody warns you. Had a buddy who almost dropped the show around the same spot til someone told him to just look up a guide.
