Am I the only one who gets a sore shoulder from pole saw work?

After a full day of trimming overhead branches, my right shoulder is always killing me. I started doing a few arm circles and stretches before I even pick up the saw, and it's made a big difference. Do you guys have any other quick warm-up tricks for this kind of work?

Pole saw work is nature's way of reminding you that your shoulders exist, and they hate you. I do a little dance before starting, but it mostly just confuses the neighbors. Honestly, stretching is good, but accepting the pain is part of the deal.

Skip the pain acceptance, lol. Just find a lighter saw or take more breaks.

It's funny how much modern life is about avoiding any kind of discomfort. We want the quick fix instead of just pushing through the gritty part of a job. Maybe some tasks, like yard work, are just supposed to be a little hard.
