Had to choose between a squirrel's nest and a power line during a storm trim in Cincinnati
Went with the nest, spent the next hour watching a very angry mom squirrel glare at me from a nearby branch while I finished the job. Anyone ever had a critter hold a grudge like that?

Oh man, squirrels are the kings of holding a grudge lol. I once had to move a nest and the dad followed me for two blocks, chattering the whole time. They really don't forget a face.

Ever wonder if they actually recognize you or just remember your general shape? @blair_torres70, after a similar standoff I started wearing a different hat when I filled the bird feeder near their tree. The angry chattering stopped completely. They're smart, but they're also pretty easy to trick with a simple costume change.
