Can we talk about how I was wrong about the Clovis First crowd?
My old professor in Albuquerque said the 2011 Buttermilk Creek dig with those 15,500 year old blades settled it, and after staring at the tool photos for an hour I finally had to admit the pre-Clovis sites in Texas were never just noise.
Does it really matter who was first if the old dates keep moving around every few years? One dig site with some blades does not mean every earlier claim suddenly holds up. I would wait for more sites to back it up before saying the whole fight is over.
