Hit 500 subs on my YouTube channel this morning and I honestly don't know how it happened

I started posting local Atlanta neighborhood walkthrough videos like six months ago just for fun. No editing, no fancy camera, just me walking around Grant Park talking about potholes and new coffee shops. I hit 500 subscribers this morning and I'm still trying to figure out who these people are. Has anyone else had a random milestone sneak up on them like that?

Totally feel you, I got 300 followers on my food blog overnight once and still have no clue how.

I swear Instagram's algorithm is just chaos, lol. I read some article about how they'll randomly boost posts if you hit some secret combo of tags and time of day or something.
