Hit 50k in Atlanta referrals last quarter and it honestly caught me off guard
I mean I've been doing networking events here for about 2 years now, mostly around Buckhead and Midtown. Never really tracked how much business came from just talking to people. But last quarter I added up all the leads and closed deals that started with a handshake or a coffee meetup, and it was 50k exactly. That's more than I made from cold emails or ads combined. But here's the thing - is that normal for Atlanta? Or did I just get lucky with a few big accounts? Curious if anyone else has run the numbers on their referral income and what it looked like.

Isn't it possible that a 50k quarter just means your referral network is actually working for you, @iris_barnes87?

Just track it consistently before assuming it's normal, one lucky quarter doesn't tell the whole story.

Track your referral source breakdown more specifically - was that 50k from a handful of repeat clients or a bunch of smaller leads? I've noticed in other cities the referral numbers can get real skewed if you land one whale account that keeps sending people your way... That makes a huge difference in whether it's sustainable or just a fluke.
