Dropped $1,100 on a frame rack adapter kit and I'm still not sure if it paid for itself
Bought a set of frame rack adapters and clamps about 7 months back for right around $1,100, mostly because I was turning away full frame pulls and sending that work to a shop over in Akron. Some guys at the supply counter told me the universal stuff works fine and I was throwing money away. I'll admit the first two jobs went smooth and I liked not driving 40 minutes each way, but then a rusted subframe on an older truck ate up half a Saturday and I started second guessing it. So which side are you on, is a dedicated adapter kit a smart buy or do the universal clamps get the job done for most of your pulls?
