That $400 paint mixing scale gave me nothing but trouble

Bought a fancy digital scale for mixing paint. Thought it would save time. Calibrated it three times last Tuesday. Still gave me wrong ratios on a pearl white job. Had to strip and redo a whole quarter panel. Cost me 6 hours and extra materials. Anyone else stick to the old manual method for mixing?

Lol my dumb self tried to "upgrade" to a digital scale once. Thing was more sensitive than my last relationship. Back to the trusty manual mixer for me, less drama.

Less drama" just means you're avoiding the learning curve. A good digital scale needs proper setup on a stable surface away from vibrations. Once you get that right, the speed and accuracy beat manual mixing every time.

Found a granite counter spot that worked for mine.
