Bought a $400 scan tool for my home garage and it's been a total game changer
I was tired of guessing on codes with my basic reader, so I bit the bullet on a Launch CRP123. Last month, a 2016 Ford Escape came in with a rough idle and a bunch of weird electrical codes. The tool let me look at live data from the throttle body and compare it to spec... found a bad sensor the generic code wouldn't have caught. It paid for itself on that one job. Anyone else using a mid-level scanner at home, and what's your go-to for weird electrical gremlins?

Saw something similar in a troubleshooting guide @oscar_gonzalez45, mentioned watching for those patterns in real-time really cuts down on the guesswork. Definitely makes those random glitches way easier to pin down.
