Am I the only one who thinks dyno tunes are overrated for a daily driver
Was at a cars and coffee in Dallas and some kid told me he paid 900 bucks for a dyno tune just to run pump gas and sit in traffic. That money gets you actual seat time at a track day or a set of sticky tires, both of which do way more for a street car. Prove me wrong, what did a dyno sheet ever do for you on your commute?
$900 is two track day entry fees at MSR Cresson and you'd still have gas money left. The seat time teaches you how the car actually behaves when you ask it to do something, which is the part nobody can put on a graph. A dyno sheet is a receipt for a number, not a skill.
