Update: I saw a crew in Tampa still using paper logs for their 737NG checks
I mean, we switched to digital logs on our tablets for everything about two years ago after a mix-up on a tail number. It's way faster to search and sign off, but maybe it's just me, I still double-check the paper backup sometimes. Has anyone else's shop gone fully paperless, or do you keep the old binders around too?

Yeah, the paper backup thing. I get that. We went digital on the line but I still print the work package sometimes. Just feels different with the pages in your hand, you know? Catching a typo on paper I totally missed on the screen. Old habits.

Noticed the same thing with maps. I can stare at my phone for ten minutes trying to figure out a route, but the second I unfold a paper map the whole picture clicks. Screens make everything feel temporary, like a draft. Paper forces your brain to slow down and actually see what's in front of you. It's why I still keep a notebook for big ideas.
