I finally gave up on rushing my cookie dough
Thought I could skip the fridge time, but they baked into one big sheet. Now I'm a believer in chilling.

Swapping butter for oil in brownies was my biggest baking mistake. They came out so greasy we had to throw them away. The cleanup was a nightmare with oil everywhere. I never skip reading the full recipe now. One wrong ingredient can wreck everything. It's a hard lesson but it sticks with you.
