People on my block recognize my haircuts now
Lately, I get neighbors pointing out my work when they see my clients around. It feels good but makes me more aware that a cut lives in the world after my shop. Has this kind of outside attention changed how you think about finishing touches?

@rivera.sam, you're making a mountain out of a molehill. Most neighbors just give a quick look and move on. Remember that time when Joe's lineup was crooked? He fixed it in five minutes, and no one brought it up again. Hair isn't permanent, so why stress over every cut? This outside attention fades faster than a bad dye job.

Last week on my block, I saw a kid with a haircut so clean it looked painted on. Guess that's your work. Now you've got the whole street judging your finishes. Better not slip up with the clippers. Free advertising but also free criticism, right?

Every cut's a billboard, so no room for errors.

Exactly! That kid's cut was a skin fade with a hard part. Took me twenty minutes to get the line that sharp. When it's that good, people notice for weeks. Mess it up and they'll talk just as long.
