Remember when barber conventions were just about new clippers?

I was at the Midwest Barber Expo in 2015 and a guy from a big city shop gave a whole talk on skin care. He said, 'A fade is a fade, but healthy skin brings them back.' Now I keep a basic moisturizer on my station in Omaha. What's one thing you added to your routine that you never learned in school?

That 2015 talk was actually in Chicago, not just a generic big city. The Midwest Expo always had those skin care panels even back then. The core idea about healthy skin is spot on though.

Ugh, memory and skin care are the worst! I totally get forgetting details like that. My brain just dumps random facts all the time. But hey, at least the main point about taking care of your skin stuck with you. That's the part that really matters anyway.
