Thought clipper over comb was lazy until a guy in Tulsa broke it down for me
Always figured clipper over comb was just a shortcut for guys who couldn't fade with scissors. Then last Tuesday a barber two chairs down in Tulsa walked me through a 2 guard blend on a real head of thick hair. Took him 6 minutes and the taper was cleaner than my 20 minute scissor job. I tried it on my next three clients and not one complained. Any of you still fighting it with shears only, or did you switch over too?
Six minutes and nobody complained is cool and all, but does that actually mean the cut was better or just that folks don't speak up? I'd want to see how those tapers held up after a week or two before I call it a straight upgrade.
