Lost a $3,500 job in Austin because I kept saying 'around' when quoting hours
Sat in on a buddy's call last week and watched him say 'it'll be about $4,000, give or take' while I always gave exact numbers and got nickel and dimed. Turns out the wishy-washy quotes were the ones clients pushed back on hardest, mine included. Anyone else notice people argue less when you just say the price flat out?
