DAE have one of those weeks where every single bike fights back?
Last week was brutal in a way I did not see coming. Monday started with a seized bottom bracket on an old steel commuter, and the thing would not budge even with a breaker bar and soaking it in penetrating oil for a full day. Then Wednesday a customer dropped off a bike with a rear derailleur hanger bent so bad the chain had eaten into the dropout, and I spent two hours filing it back flat. By Friday I had three tune ups stacked up and a wheel that was so far out of true it looked like a taco. I put in 52 hours when I usually do 40, and I still went home with two bikes waiting. The worst part was a stripped stem bolt that cost me a drill bit and my patience. Saturday morning I walked in and everything just clicked, four bikes done before lunch. How do you all deal with those runs where nothing goes right, do you push through or just call it and start fresh?
