Finally finished a 5 season show in one week while sick on the couch

Last Tuesday I came down with a nasty cold and couldn't move from the couch for three days. My wife threw on this Nordic noir show called The Bridge and I was hooked by episode 2. I burned through all 38 episodes in about 6 days while she kept bringing me tea and tissues. Has anyone else found a show that actually made being sick feel almost worth it?

Being stuck sick is the worst though. Binging a show is fun and all but those days where you can't even focus your eyes on a screen are miserable. I remember having a bad fever last winter and couldn't follow anything more complex than a cartoon, so I just laid there staring at the ceiling waiting to feel human again. Tea and tissues don't fix the body aches and that awful cough that keeps you up all night.
