I finally figured out how to watch shows with my partner who spoils everything
My gf can't help but read plot summaries and wiki pages before we start anything. It drove me nuts for like 2 years. Then last month I tried having us both watch the first episode alone, then we meet up and talk theories before continuing. We just finished The Bear season 3 that way and she only spoiled one small thing. Anyone else deal with a spoiler-happy watch buddy? How do you handle it?

Honestly I used to think that was dumb but this actually sounds kinda smart.

Used to think it was a waste of time too. Then I tried it during a slow week and it actually helped me sort through some clutter. The structure makes it easier to stick with than just winging it. Kinda surprised myself.
