Just realized I've watched 12 seasons of trash reality TV this year alone

I was cleaning out my Netflix history and counted 12 full seasons of those ridiculous housewife shows I binged in 2024. Never thought I'd hit double digits on something so mindless but here we are. Anyone else accidentally track how much time you've sunk into guilty pleasures?

Yeah I totally get counting it like that. I did the same thing last month when I realized I burned through 8 seasons of some baking competition show without even liking baking. Sometimes you just need that background noise, right?

lol @anna717 is acting like we're filing tax returns or something. But honestly yeah I'll absolutely count up episodes like it's some kind of brag or badge of honor. It's just funny how we normalize this stuff. binging 8 seasons of a show we don't even care about is basically a rite of passage at this point. I've done it with those home renovation shows where they just flip houses and I don't own a house. Background noise is a legit coping mechanism for the chaos of life lol.
