Chose a coal forge over propane for my first setup and I'm still not sure I made the right call
Drove 2 hours to a farm auction in Lexington and walked away with a rivet forge for $85 instead of the $200 propane kit from the supply house. Two months in I love the fire but I'm burning through lump charcoal like crazy, anyone else start on coal and regret it or did you stick with it?

85 bucks beats 200 any day, just switch to real coal and stop burning cash on charcoal.
