Found a trick for protecting card sleeves during a con

I was at Gen Con last year and watched a guy spill soda all over a corner of his deck. He just wiped it off and kept playing because he used these heavy duty KMC Perfect Fit sleeves inside standard Ultra Pro sleeves. I started double sleeving everything after that, it costs about $12 for 100 sleeves but it saved my copy of Dominion from a coffee spill at my buddy's house last month. Has anyone else tried the sealable inner sleeves or are those overkill?

Total pain to get the air bubbles out" is right, and that's EXACTLY why I stick with KMC inners and Dragon Shields too.

Double sleeved my EDH deck right after watching a guy at Pax East lose a $50 card to a spilled Monster. Same setup you mentioned - KMC inners with Dragon Shield outers. Tried those sealable inner sleeves once, total pain to get the air bubbles out. Not worth it unless you play in a literal rainstorm. Regular perfect fits work fine for 99% of accidents. Just make sure you squeeze the air out before you put the outer sleeve on.
