My grandma mistook game resources for snacks and it made my night
Family gathering last weekend. Brought a board game. Grandma usually avoids games. Got her to play. She confused game money with candy, so we all cracked up. She ended up loving it. A real win for this board game geek.

Honestly, it's the best when stuff like that happens. It cuts through all the usual small talk and just gives you a pure, funny moment to share. I've noticed that the best family memories often come from these little mix-ups, not the perfect, planned events. Your grandma accidentally joining in because she thought the money was a snack is way more special than if she'd just played along normally. Those are the stories you actually remember years later.

Pretty sure that's 'gummy money'... the candy shaped like cash. Game money is for Monopoly and stuff, not for eating... unless your grandma is on a whole other level. Classic move though, those old school sweets are a staple. Always found them too chewy myself...
