Pre-setting game pieces sped up our game nights
I lay out all the tokens and cards before my friends come over. This cuts down on confusion and lets us jump right into playing.

Took me forever to admit presetup was worth the effort. @ninataylor is right about it being a game changer once you get past that.

What about the mental space it frees up before people even arrive? @ninataylor got me thinking, and now I see presetup isn't just about saving time. It lets you actually switch into host mode instead of being stuck in setup panic. You're present from the first guest walking in. That shift is huge and totally changes the whole night's vibe.
