That random at the game store made me question my whole collection
I was browsing the used shelf last Friday and this guy starts chatting, says my 300+ game hoard is just 'shelf candy' if I only play 10 of them. He wasn't being rude, just honest. It stuck with me because I realized I buy games for the potential, not the table. Anyone else ever had a stranger's throwaway line change how you look at your own hobby?

Man, are we really doing this over one comment from some dude at a game store? People say stuff like that all the time just to hear themselves talk. You have 300+ games and you enjoy having them on the shelf, that's a totally fine way to collect. Not every purchase has to be about getting maximum hours per dollar. I guarantee that guy has some habit someone could call out as pointless too. If you're not stressed about your collection, don't let a stranger's opinion make you feel weird about it.
