Am I the only one who noticed how cheap frozen veggies are getting at Aldi?

I stopped by the Aldi on Elm Street last weekend and grabbed a bag of frozen broccoli for like 89 cents. It felt weird because fresh broccoli was over two bucks a pound at the same store. Makes me wonder if it's worth switching to more frozen stuff for meal prepping. Has anyone else seen this at their local store?

89 cents? My frozen veggie game is so weak I'd probably burn the water.

Tell @the_mary that if burning water was an Olympic sport half of us would have gold medals by now. I've personally witnessed someone char the bottom of a pot so bad it looked like a crime scene just from boiling peas. 89 cents is worth the risk though especially if you set a timer and walk away from the stove completely.

Is it just me or does burning water take actual skill though, lmao. I swear I could overcook frozen veggies in a microwave without even turning it on. But yeah, 89 cents for broccoli is a steal. I picked up a bag of mixed stir fry veggies for like a dollar last week and honestly it lasted me three lunches. The texture is fine if you just don't boil them to death, which is apparently harder than it sounds for some of us.
