Warning: people are booking hostels wrong and paying double
I see travelers book a hostel bed for a week straight. That's a mistake. In Berlin, I booked 3 nights at one hostel, then 4 at another 10 minutes away. Saved 65 euros total. The second place had a cheaper weekly rate that started on a Tuesday. You have to check the calendar for each night, not just pick one spot. Has anyone else found big savings by splitting a stay between two places?

Haven't you noticed that kind of lazy booking habit shows up everywhere in life? @rosecarr people get stuck on the first thing they see instead of checking a couple options. That same mindset with weekend trip flights versus flying midweek would save most of us a lot of cash.

Wait, you mean I don't have to book the same bed for a whole week? I always thought switching hostels was more hassle than it was worth. But saving that much money just by moving down the street is a game changer. I guess a few extra minutes of packing is worth it for an extra 65 euros in my pocket.
