Chose the $40 meal prep containers over $200 of takeout, big difference
Last month I had to pick between buying a proper set of meal prep containers or keep grabbing lunch every day at work. I went with the containers and a Sunday afternoon cooking session. Spent about $55 on groceries and containers combined, which covered 5 work lunches. Before that I was dropping $12 to $15 at the deli near my office each day, so that's roughly $75 a week I was burning. The real win was noticing my grocery bill went down too since I wasn't impulse buying snacks during the week. Has anyone else found a container system that actually stays leak proof for soups or sauces?

Did you try glass containers with the snap lids, those seem to hold up way better for saucy stuff.
