Just realized my minimalist bullet journal spread was wasting 20 minutes every day on setup
I ignored the fancy trackers for months thinking they were fluff, but after reading a post here I tried a simple habit tracker last week and it cut my daily logging time in half - has anyone else had a setup they swore against turn out to be a total game changer?

Did you find the habit tracker worked because it simplified your layout, or because it actually held you accountable differently than just writing it down?

Does it have to be one or the other with this stuff? I remember I tried one of those apps for like two weeks back when I was trying to quit snacking after dinner. The layout was clean and all but the real thing that got me was the little notification. It would buzz at 9pm and Id think oh right I got to mark it off. Then I felt this weird pressure if I skipped it two days in a row. Like the app was judging me more than a notebook page would. But maybe that's just me being easily guilted by technology. Either way the simplicity helped me actually see where I was messing up without having to flip through pages.

My buddy swore by it just cause the red notifications stressed him out.
