Serious question, has anyone else tried using a cheap watercolor palette as a makeshift highlighter set for their weekly spreads?
I was getting so frustrated with my highlighters drying out and smearing my ink, so last Tuesday I grabbed my kid's $5 watercolor set, used a tiny brush with just a drop of water, and now I have perfect, smear-proof pastel color coding that lasts all week.

That's a great idea, but careful with the water on thin paper, it can make the page wrinkle. Maybe try it on a scrap sheet first to see how your notebook holds up.

What if the wrinkles add to the look though?

Wrinkles are just part of the process, embrace them.
