TIL my fountain pen can't handle the humidity in my Florida garage

I was setting up my journal on the workbench to plan the week, and my Lamy Safari just started dumping ink everywhere. It bled through three pages of my Leuchtturm notebook before I could cap it. Has anyone else found a good waterproof pen that works in a damp shop?

That Lamy just gave your journal a Florida swamp watercolor special. My Fisher Space Pen is the only thing that survives my humid basement.

Honestly the real test is leaving a pen in a hot car all summer. Had a gel pen explode in my glove box once and it was a total mess lol. Some inks just can't handle the heat.

Yeah, it's funny how we're all basically stress-testing our pens without meaning to. I've got a mug full of dead ones that couldn't handle a hot dashboard or a damp pocket. Makes you wonder what other everyday stuff is secretly fragile.
