Had a guy come into the shop in Cincinnati last week asking for a 'vegan-friendly' bone-in ribeye. He was dead serious.

I saw a food blog last week that did a full taste test of like five different seitan brands from Whole Foods. The blogger said the Upton's Naturals traditional style was the best for texture, it really holds up in a stir fry. @robertperez is right to point people that way, the selection has gotten way better. I tried making my own once and it was a total mess, so store-bought is the move for me lol.
