Had the best Tuesday in a while last week, then Friday punched me in the mouth. Which day do you learn more from?
Last Tuesday I knocked out 4 installs in Garland, Texas before 2pm, no callbacks, customer even tipped me a $20. Then Friday I spent 3 hours on one house off Route 9 because the previous guy stapled the coax through a water line and I had to red tag it. I keep going back and forth on which day taught me more. Curious what you all think, do you learn more from the smooth days or the disaster days?

That "punched me in the mouth" line is real, because the bad days stick with you way longer than the easy ones. The thing is, the Tuesday taught you that your normal process works, but the Friday taught you to check the last guy's work before you trust anything. So which lesson actually shows up on your next job, the confidence or the caution?
